In addition to accepting most dental insurance, we are proud to be considered as Preferred Dental Providers for the plans specified below:

AC Dentistry

Why should I go to a dentist who is not in my network?

Being an "In Network" or "Preferred Dental Provider" means that I have negotiated a contract with specific insurance carriers in which I agree to reduce my fee in exchange for being listed in the carriers' directory and website.  The fees are dictated by the insurance carrier I am contracted with and are based on location.

I take pride in the quality of care I deliver and the amount of individualized time I spend with each patient.  In order to maintain this level of quality, I have carefully selected which carriers I would like to contract with based on the fee schedules, benefit to each patient and reputation of carrier.  The more carriers a dentist contracts with, the less time the clinician can spend with each patient in order to cover the expenses of the practice overhead at such reduced fees.  In my opinion, quality not quantity counts.

Dental Insurance is a benefit offered by an employer to its employees.  Levels of benefit can vary greatly between insurance carriers and within carriers themselves. The benefits offered to employees is determined by the level of coverage selected by the employer.  If you are not happy with the coverage you receive, it is recommended you notify your Human Resources Department.  They often re-evaluate and upgrade coverage once they become aware of employee dissatisfaction.

As a courtesy to our patents, we will submit insurance claims to your carrier to be paid directly to us.  We will estimate benefit coverage according to eligibility and benefits offered by your plan.  We require payment of any portion not covered by insurance at the time service is performed.  This includes deductibles, co-pays and non-covered services.  We try our hardest to maintain accurate and current benefit information.  However, there are times when the insurance claim does not match what was expected.  In this case, we will generate a statement for the difference after we receive your insurance reimbursement upon which prompt payment is expected and appreciated.

Currently we accept patients with benefits from all dental insurance carriers.  At this time we do not subscribe to any HMO's.  If you are covered by an HMO we are happy to see you, however; please check your policy information to determine level of coverage for going outside of your HMO assigned dentist before receiving treatment.  We will be happy to assist you with this.
